Quick Facts
Why We're Going
This trip is about simplicity. In the middle of winter, we want something warm, restorative, and easy to say yes to. A cruise gives us shared anchors, built-in flexibility, and very little travel friction once everyone is on board.
We like this format for a group because it makes connection easy without requiring everyone to move in lockstep. People can join for dinners, meetups, and excursions, then take their own pace during the day.
About The Ship
Symphony of the Seas is a full-on experience: part resort, part playground, all energy. Central Park is a must, with real trees, great restaurants, and a calm reset in the middle of it all.
Grab a Goal Post Margarita at Playmakers, catch a show in the Royal Theater, and then meet up in the pub for a pint after. Between the AquaTheater, water slides, kids' programming, and nonstop entertainment, there is always something happening without it ever feeling like you have to do all of it.
What To Expect
This trip is ideal for travelers who want a warm-weather reset with strong group energy and very little planning burden. Expect shared dinners, optional excursions, and the freedom to keep each day as full or as quiet as you want.
The Plan
Afternoon Arrive in Galveston, board Symphony of the Seas, settle in, and get oriented before departure.
Evening Sail away, explore the ship, and make the first onboard dinner an easy group anchor.
All Day This is the first full reset day: pool time, ship exploring, long lunch, and optional meetups whenever it feels easy.
Port Day Cozumel is the easy tropical day: beach clubs, snorkeling, wandering town, or a simple lunch by the water.
Evening Back onboard for dinner and a lighter night after port.
All Day Another full ship day to settle into the rhythm: water slides, entertainment, specialty dining, or doing almost nothing at all.
Port Day Roatan is the more active island stop: excursions, beaches, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the scenery and sunshine.
Port Day A shorter stop that works well for a relaxed beach break, quick outing, or easy walk through the port area.
All Day Keep it open and easy, with one final anchor dinner that gives the trip a real ending without overcomplicating it.
Morning Return to Galveston, disembark, and head home with the easy-button version of a group vacation fully accomplished.
